A terminal-block BOQ should describe the complete connection assembly, including the small accessories needed to finish it. Quoting only the main terminal can leave end plates, bridges or marking requirements unresolved.
Start with the terminal order number
Record the exact Weidmüller order number and quantity for each terminal type. If the reference is missing, provide the terminal-series marking and a photograph of the existing assembly. Identify different terminal types on separate lines.
Keep accessories tied to the intended series
List end plates, end brackets, cross-connections or bridges and other accessories individually. Include their references wherever possible. Similar-looking accessories should not be assumed to suit every terminal series; refer to the manufacturer’s information for compatibility.
Specify marking requirements
Marker references and quantities should be included in the BOQ. If custom printing is required, attach the marking schedule and clearly distinguish printed markers from blank markers. This gives the supplier enough information to review the scope.
Include the panel context
State conductor sizes and any project requirements already defined by the design. For replacements, a photograph showing the surrounding assembly can help clarify the requirement. Keep quantity and unit information consistent across terminals, accessories and markers.
