A clear bill of quantities makes an electrical enquiry easier to review. The most useful BOQ identifies the required products unambiguously and keeps technical requirements separate from commercial notes.
1. Give each product its own line
Record the brand, full part reference, description, quantity and unit. Preserve letters, suffixes and leading zeros in part numbers. If two devices have different ratings or connections, use separate lines even when their descriptions look similar.
2. List accessories separately
Include auxiliary contacts, sockets, mounting components, terminal bridges, markers and other accessories with their own references and quantities. This lets the quotation show which parts are included and which require further clarification.
3. Add information where references are missing
A general description such as “contactor” or “terminal” rarely identifies a single product. Attach a label photograph, existing data sheet or project schedule. Keep the original reference visible when requesting a replacement and state whether an alternative can be considered.
4. Explain the project requirements
Add your company name, contact details, delivery location and required date. If documentation, particular packaging or staged deliveries are needed, include those requirements in the enquiry. A requested date is a requirement for review, rather than confirmation of availability.
5. Review prices and quantities before sending
Inventis catalogue prices are shown in AED, excluding VAT. The BOQ is an enquiry for our team to quote. Availability, delivery and final commercial terms are confirmed in the quotation. Review quantities carefully and keep units consistent, particularly for cable lengths and packaged items.
Send your BOQ to Inventis
Use the catalogue to select items and quantities, then submit your BOQ with your contact information. If an item is missing, email its reference and quantity to sales.dxb@inventis-electric.com so our team can review it alongside your other requirements.
